Construction of 75 housing units in Differdange, including an underground car park and development of the perimeter.


This was a major project which forms part of a study into the redevelopment of the centre of Differdange: "the city’s terraces…a place for relaxation and living".

The specific features  of the location are notable: the gradient of the plot, the orientation, the views, the perspectives …and the fact that it links the upper and the lower parts of the city, thereby creating a transition zone between city and nature.
The building contractor Fond du Logement worked to apply optimal energy efficiency, class B, for these housing units, by building all the units using a wooden structure

Insulation: Front =20 cm – roof = 30 cm green roof – floor slabs = 12 cm

Solar panels for domestic hot water 
Central heating system with gas – collection tank for rainwater
